I had just begun my Bible lesson on Naboth's Vineyard at Chaney Monge Good News Club when Hannah raised her hand. I just finished teaching that coveting, wanting what someone else has, is a a sin. Hannah raised her hand and said " My mom says that it is ok to want what someone else has." I was not expecting that. I had to think fast, but couldn't. The Holy Spirit gave me this "At first just wanting what someone else has is ok, but when you starting thinking about it and dwelling on it, then it becomes a problem." During the rest of the lesson, I watched how Hannah responded to the Bible lesson. By the end of the lesson, Hannah finally understood. She saw how coveting could be a problem and left with ways she deal with coveting when it arives in her young Christian life. What a joy it was to watch God work in her life that day!This is a reminder that I am simply God's vessel so that His work can be accomplished!
